Carol Sue Grossek Shaw

Carol Sue Grossek Shaw, 68 years old of Cecil, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022 in Washington Hospital.

She was born March 3, 1954 in Washington, daughter of the late Henry Grossek Sr. and Ethel Kraynak Grossek.

She attended St. Michaels Church and Corpus Christi Parish, St. Mary Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching TV, and going to the casino. She had a passion for gardening and spending time with family.

She worked for 20 years as a card dealer for casinos in New Jersey.

Surviving are son, Patrick (Danielle) Shaw of Downingtown, PA, mother, Ethel Grossek, two brothers, Henry A. Grossek, Jr and Bill Grossek both of Cecil, Sister, Pam (Adam) Holtz of Stow, OH, Nephews and Godsons, Ryan Grossek of Boiling Springs, NC, and Jonathan Holtz of Stow, OH,  nephew, Dillon Holtz of Stow, OH, and niece, Raven Grossek of Charlotte, NC.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry A. Grossek, Sr. in 2005 and husband Barry Shaw in 2018.

Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-7:30 P.M., Friday, July 29 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA. where services will be held at 7:30 PM with Father Ken Shaw.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cecil, Pa. at a later date.
