Robert Francis "Warbo" Ward

Robert Francis "Warbo" Ward, 70 years old of Washington, Pennsylvania, died February 6, 2025 in his home surrounded by family.

He was born January 16, 1955 in Pittsburgh, son of the late George and Margaret Welch Coen.

He was a Road Crew Specialist with Auto Supermarket, and formerly worked as a laborer at Ensinter and Action Packaging.

He was honorably discharged after a short stint in the Marines. He was a part time comedian and full time dessert sampler. Robert was an avid Steelers fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife Elizabeth Hamilton Ward of Washington; daughter Courtney (Justin) Gondringer of Cecil; grandchildren Max and Rae Gondringer; a brother, Burl (Mag) Coen of Washington; five sisters, Rose (George) Broznick of Canonsburg; Mary (Terry) Shuba, Marlea (Ron) Downey, Peg Moss, and Patti (Jeff) Schimuschul all of Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Georgetta Ward, brother Gordon Downey, and two nieces, Kacey Shuba and Denice Burke.

Friends will be received from 1- 6:00 PM, Sunday, February 09, 2025 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321 and on Monday, Feb. 10, from 11AM till the time of funeral service at Noon with Rev. Sue Petritis officiating.

Interment will be private.
