Michael Glen Ikirt

Michael Glen Ikirt, 47 years old of Gladden, died June 24, 2024 in his home.

 He was born October 17, 1976 in Salem, OH Son of Louis Horvath and Kathy Gouldsberry Blankenship.

 Michael was a graduate of David Anderson jr/sr High School, Lisbon, OH and Kaplan University with a para legal degree. He was recently accepted into the business school at Arizona State University. He enjoyed spending time with family, reading, collecting comic books, building model cars, and listening to country music.

He served in the US Army as a communication specialist.

 Surviving are his parents Louis Horvath; and Kathy (James) Blankenship all of Lisbon, OH; wife April Beyer Ikirt whom he married on July 4, 2016 of Gladden; daughter, Rhiannon Ikirt of Lisbon, OH; son, Matthew Ikirt of Gladden; granddaughter Phoenix Ikirt Lisbon, OH; step-sisters Ericka (Robert) Blankenship-Bruher; and Jamie O'Dell; brother and sister-in-law, Jason (Roni) Beyer, and niece Aubrey Beyer both of Danport, PA.

 He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Louis and Augustina Horvath, maternal grandparents, Herbert and Erla Gouldberry, and step paternal grandparents, Richard and Edna Blankenship.

 Friends will be received 12:00 PM- 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321 where a funeral service will be held at 4:00PM. followed by a military service.

 Inurnment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township at a later date.
