Genevieve Marie Stewart

Genevieve Marie Stewart, 72 years old of Washington, formerly of Cecil, died November 4, 2024 in Transitions Health Care, Washington.

She was born June 17, 1952 in Washington, daughter of the late John and Frances Kolljeski Zupancic.

She is Catholic by faith and enjoyed volunteering at the Washington City Mission. Genevieve Graduated from Canon-McMillan High School and later from Duffs business school as a Para Legal. She worked for Melenyzer-Tershel Law Firm, and Attorney Dave Costello.

Surviving are two sons Michael Stewart (companion Lexie Trnavsky) of McDonald; and John Stewart (fiancee Kelly Bible) of Bethel Park; grandson Ryder Stewart; step grandchildren Kiersten and Landon Trnavsky, and Nolan and Addison Bible, two brothers John (Kris) Zupancic of OK; and Anthony (Debbie) Zupancic of Imperial, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, a sister Joan Sloka, and brother Joseph Zupancic.

Friends will be received 6-7:30 PM Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321 where a memorial service will be said at 7:30 PM.

Interment will be private.
