Louise Turiczek

Louise Turiczek, 82 years old of Cecil, Pennsylvania, died November 19, 2024 in the home of her daughter.

She was born September 20, 1942 in Cecil, daughter of the late Vern Leslie and Mary Gertrude Tobias Cross.

She was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church, and attended Crossroads Church. She owned and operated L. Turiczek Day Care for almost 40 years. On the weekends she was a vendor at Trader Jacks and was known as “the coupon lady”.  She enjoyed many years at Canadohta Lake with her husband and family.  In the last couple years she enjoyed spending time with her daughter, son in law and grandsons at their home near Geneva on the Lake.

Surviving are daughters, Tammy (Greg) Rolin-Bailey of Cecil; and Lisa (Wes) Bruce of Washington; grandchildren Isabella, Anthony,and Stephen Rolin all of Cecil; and Wesley Bruce Jr of Washington; great-granddaughter Piper Bruce; sisters, Beverly Blair of Ohio; Shirl Senay of Washington;Vida (Frank) Dellorso of FL; Mary Lou (Jerry) Arlia of Belleview; Debbie Williams of Canonsburg, sister-in-law Alberta Cross of Carnegie; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents;husband Stephen Turiczek in 2017, and two brothers Larry and Jerry Cross.

Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Monday, November 25, 2024 at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, followed by Graveside Service held at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1:00PM

Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
