Jason Robert Pigford

Jason Robert Pigford, 43 years old of Tionesta Twp., formerly of Cecil, died January 23, 2023 in his home.

 He was born August 26, 1979 in Pittsburgh, son of the late James Pigford, III and Catherine Thomas Pigford who survives.

 He was a roofer by trade, and enjoyed hiking and kayaking. He was proud to have kayaked from Kinzua to President, PA.

 Surviving are his mother, Cathy of Cecil; a brother James (Robyn) Pigford, of Washington; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

 He was preceded in death by his father, James Pigford, III. paternal grandparents, Jim and Jane Pigford, and maternal grandparents, John and Norma Thomas.

 A private service and interment was held at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.

 In lieu of flowers the family would like donations in his memory to the Cecil Township Historical Society PO Box 48, Cecil, PA 15321.
