Jack William Falconi, Sr.

Jack William Falconi, Sr., 90 years old of Canonsburg, died September 26, 2024 in The Pines of Mt. Lebanon.

Jack was born in Cecil Township to Giacomo Falconi and Zelinda Binotto Falconi on August 15, 1934.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Victoria Berglund.

Jack was a Quality Control Inspector at McGraw Edison and Pennsylvania Transformer until his retirement at age 88.  A collector of flashlights, he honed his skills as an inspector at home.  All his adult life, Jack identified as a bricklayer. Considered to be very skilled by colleagues and customers, Jack worked as a self-employed mason, specializing in brick and stonework. In his spare time he enjoyed creating gadgets to solve household problems, often incorporating bungee cords and old broom handles.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Donna Goodnight Falconi of McMurray (formerly of Canonsburg), daughter Melinda (Frank) Laudonia of Vermilion, OH, and three sons: Jack W. (Judy) Falconi, Jr. of Richmond, VA, James (Diana) Falconi of Sewickley, PA, and Larry (Deborah) Falconi of Morgantown, WV.  He was very proud of his children and his eight grandchildren:  David, James, Joseph, John, twins Hayley and Callyn, Kristen, and Kyle.

Family and friends will be received between 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321 where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the Falconi family is asking that friends and family send donations to Gateway Hospice, 9380 McKnight Rd., Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
