Eleanor Ann Pichora

Eleanor Ann Pichora, 90 years old of Hickory, formerly of South Side Pittsburgh and Moon Twp., died Friday, October 25, 2019 in Friendship Village, South Hills.

She was born July 31, 1929 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late John and Anna Manko Lenio.

She was a former member of St. Margaret Mary, Moon Twp. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling the world to China, Malaysia, Indonisia, Europe, and Saudi Arabia.

She worked as the Secretary to the Commander at 911th US Air Force base in Moon Twp.

Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Dewey, of Ohio, Amy Pichora of Chicago, three sons, Richard (Bonnie) Pichora of Titusville, David (Pamela) Pichora of Hickory, and John Pichora of Las Vegas, five grandchildren, Holly, Julie, Kari, Rebecca, Alexa, one great grandchild, and a sister, Margaret Haramic of White Lake, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bruno Pichora, and a sister Dorothy Brooks.

To honor her wishes there will be no visitation. a memorial service will be held at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township, on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM with Deacon Leonard M. Thomas, Jr. officiating.
